It includes the P, D, S, CC and O Dollars. As you may know, the US Mint issued the Morgan Silver Dollars from 1878 to 1904. Then, after 17 years, the US Minth released the final Morgan Dollar in 1921, with 90% Silver issues released from the Philadelphia, Denver and San Francisco Mints. In December of 1921 the Treasury Secretary at the time, Andrew Mellon, approved the Peace Dollar to replace the long standing Morgan Dollar. The Peace Dollar was issued until 1928, and again in 1934 and 1935. This year, in recognition of the 100th anniversaries of the last year of minting of the Morgan Silver Dollar and the first year of minting of the Peace Silver Dollar, the US Mint has released these six (6) issues that are sure to cause a stir in the collecting community. With only 175,000 issues of each Morgan Dollar and 200,000 issues of the Peace Dollar, these coins will surely rise to. Composed of 99.9% Silver with a weight of 0.858 troy oz. With a reeded edge and diameter of 38.10 mm, mint marks from Philadelphia, Denver and San Francisco, or a'CC' or'O' Privy marks in.
