Most are very high grade uncirculated examples with a few being high AU. See for yourself, I won't attempt to put a grade on each coin but I assure you that you will love this set as much as I have. Putting it together was a pure pleasure and the work has all been done for you.
Housed in individual Capital Plastic holders for safety and ease of viewing both obverse and reverse. The question has come up whether they have been cleaned. Not to my knowledge and they all exhibit original surfaces.
In over 170 years I can't say for sure that none have been dipped but none were "harshly" cleaned. I will include notes from the original holders regarding clashed dies, die cracks, and doubling. Please NOTE: I know I'm asking a high, but I consider it a fair price for this set.
Consider the time and effort to assemble such a show piece for your collection. It has been one of my favorite sets to put together. Think of it, these represent 5 cents worth of silver in the early 19th century.
