Complete 2007-2016 Set of President Dollar Coins (78), P & D Mint, Thru Reagan

This series began in 2007 and have been issued four per year and will continue thru 2016 when the last dead president will be honored. I would like to caution everyone that these dollar coins can have rub marks and other small imperfections on them as they are classified'Business Coins'. I do not have'Proof Sets'. While they are referred to as Golden Dollars, there is no gold in these coins and are a pure copper core with an outer layer made of 77% copper, 12 % zinc, 7% manganese, and 4% nickel.

Though started in 2007 as to be meant as a circulating coin, the public steadfastly would not use them. Millions have been stockpiled in the mint vaults and will probably be melted down. With the beginning of the 2012 issues, they continued to be minted but in reduced production numbers for collector use only in order to reduce the stockpile.

Following is a list of the current available dollar coins in this offering. P-Mint or D-Mint, 39 coins total. This is a complete list of all Presidential dollars so far that have been minted.

2007 - George Washington, John Adams. 2008 - James Monroe, John Quincy Adams. Andrew Jackson, Martin Van Buren. 2009 - William Henry Harrison, John Tyler.

2010 - Millard Fillmore, Franklin Pierce. 2011 - Andrew Johnson, Ulysses S. 2012 - Chester Arthur, Grover Cleveland 1st. Benjamin Harrison, Grover Cleveland 2d. 2013 - William McKinley, Theodore Roosevelt. William Howard Taft, Woodrow Wilson. Herbert Hoover, Franklin Delano Roosevelt.
